Forex update: US Dollar selling at Rs 141.25

KATHMANDU, Sept 21: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published today’s foreign currency exchange rates. The buying rate of one U.S. dollar is set at Rs 140.65, while the selling rate stands at Rs 141.25.

Similarly, the euro is traded at a buying rate of Rs 165.34 and a selling rate of Rs 166.05. The British pound has a buying rate of Rs 189.79 and a selling rate of Rs 190.60. The Swiss franc is at Rs 176.81 for buying and Rs 177.56 for selling.

The Australian dollar is set at Rs 92.86 for buying and Rs 93.25 for selling, while the Canadian dollar trades at Rs 101.87 for buying and Rs 102.31 for selling. The Singapore dollar stands at Rs 109.51 for buying and Rs 109.98 for selling.

Among other currencies, 100 Indian rupees is exchanged at Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling. Ten Japanese yen is priced at Rs 9.50 for buying and Rs 9.54 for selling. The Chinese yuan trades at Rs 19.77 for buying and Rs 19.85 for selling.

Similarly, the Saudi riyal stands at Rs 37.50 for buying and Rs 37.66 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is at Rs 38.59 for buying and Rs 38.75 for selling. The Thai baht trades at Rs 4.41 for buying and Rs 4.43 for selling. The UAE dirham is exchanged at Rs 38.29 for buying and Rs 38.46 for selling.

The Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 33.43 for buying and Rs 33.57 for selling, while 100 South Korean won is exchanged at Rs 10.07 for buying and Rs 10.12 for selling. The Swedish krona is priced at Rs 14.97 for buying and Rs 15.07 for selling, and the Danish krone at Rs 22.15 for buying and Rs 22.25 for selling.

Likewise, the Hong Kong dollar trades at Rs 18.09 for buying and Rs 18.17 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar remains the highest-valued currency, with a buying rate of Rs 460.51 and a selling rate of Rs 462.48. The Bahraini dinar follows at Rs 373.00 for buying and Rs 374.59 for selling, while the Omani riyal is priced at Rs 365.30 for buying and Rs 366.85 for selling.
