KATHMANDU, July 3: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has determined foreign exchange rates for today (Thursday). According to NRB, the value of the U.S. dollar increased today. The buying rate for one U.S. dollar has been fixed at Rs 136.83, and the selling rate at Rs 137.43. On Wednesday, the buying rate was Rs 136.54, and the selling rate was Rs 137.14.
The buying rate for one European euro is Rs 160.95, and the selling rate is Rs 161.66. For one UK pound sterling, the buying rate is Rs 187.53 and the selling rate is Rs 188.35. The buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 172.61, and the selling rate is Rs 173.37.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 89.84, and the selling rate is Rs 90.24. For one Canadian dollar, the buying rate is Rs 100.31 and the selling rate is Rs 100.75. The Singapore dollar is set at Rs 107.45 for buying and Rs 107.92 for selling.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.50, and the selling rate is Rs 9.55. For one Chinese Yuan, the buying rate is Rs 19.09 and the selling rate is Rs 19.17. One Saudi Arabian Riyal is set at Rs 36.49 for buying and Rs 36.65 for selling. For one Qatari Riyal, the buying rate is Rs 37.54 and the selling rate is Rs 37.71.
According to the NRB, the buying rate for one Thai Baht is Rs 4.22, and the selling rate is Rs 4.24. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 37.25, and the selling rate is Rs 37.42. For one Malaysian ringgit, the buying rate is Rs 32.36 and the selling rate is Rs 32.50. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.07, and the selling rate is Rs 10.11. For one Swedish krona, the buying rate is Rs 14.38 and the selling rate is Rs 14.44. The buying rate for one Danish krone is Rs 21.57, and the selling rate is Rs 21.67.
Likewise, for one Hong Kong dollar, the buying rate is Rs 17.43 and the selling rate is Rs 17.51. The buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 448.31, and the selling rate is Rs 450.28. For one Bahraini dinar, the buying rate is Rs 362.98 and the selling rate is Rs 364.57. The Omani riyal is set at Rs 355.39 for buying and Rs 356.95 for selling.
For 100 Indian rupees, the buying rate is Rs 160 and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
The NRB has stated that it may revise these exchange rates at any time as needed. It is also noted that the exchange rates fixed by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the NRB’s website.
