KATHMANDU, April 25: CPN-UML lawmaker Gokarna Bista has claimed that there is no truth to the rumors suggesting the government is on the verge of collapse.

Speaking during the House of Representatives meeting that began on Friday, Bista made this statement.

“There’s a growing narrative that this government is about to collapse. But this government, formed through an alliance of two major parties, was established for the sake of political stability,” Bista said, “Formed on the basis of a seven-point agreement, this government is committed to advance with sincerity. The attempts to create disappointment and instability by spreading rumors about its fall are baseless.”

He emphasized that the government is progressing based on mutual understanding and agreement between the two ruling parties. “If any problems arise, there are political mechanisms in place to address them," he said. "Let’s seek solutions through those mechanisms."
