Pro-monarchy protester Silwal arrested over inciting Tinkune violence

KATHMANDU, April 19: The police have arrested one more person on charges of inciting violence during a pro-monarchy demonstration in Tinkune, Kathmandu.

The Central Investigation Bureau of the police arrested Santosh Kumar Silwal, a resident of Siddhalek Rural Municipality-1 in Dhading who currently lives in Kalanki. He was apprehended last night from Koteshwor.

The 34-year-old Silwal is known as "Santosh Rajabadi" among supporters of the former king. An officer said that they arrested Silwal from Mahadevsthan in Koteshwor, Kathmandu-32, and sent him to the District Police Range in Kathmandu for legal proceedings.
