KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has allocated Rs 211.7 billion for the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/26.
Announcing the budget, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel pledged to modernise the education system by making it technology-friendly. He also announced an incentive programme aiming to establish at least one school in every district, with a grant of Rs 2.5 million allocated per school.
