KATHMANDU, July 28: Nepal’s ice cream industry is getting a modern makeover. In a bid to introduce cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices, Sagtani Group, LAIEF Ice Cream Machineries and the Nepal Italy Chamber of Commerce & Industries (NICCI) on Monday hosted a high-profile event titled “Transforming Ice Cream Production in Nepal” in Kathmandu.
The event drew leading names from Nepal’s food and business sectors, along with Italian industry experts, to showcase the latest innovations in ice cream production. Renowned Italian brands—LAIEF, Technoice, Packint, and Cold Car—unveiled advanced machinery covering the full chain of production and distribution, highlighting energy efficiency and eco-friendly systems.
This initiative not only promises to elevate Nepal’s frozen dessert standards but also strengthens industrial and trade ties between Nepal and Italy, according to the organizers.
