KATHMANDU, June 1: A woman died and the motorcyclist was injured in a motorcycle accident on Saturday evening on a road in Panighat, Chandragiri Municipality-4, Kathmandu.
According to the police, the motorcycle with registration number Ba Pra 02-021 Pa 8068 lost control and crashed. The deceased has been identified as Sunita Balami,36, from Gudeswari-1, Kakani Rural Municipality, Nuwakot.
She was seriously injured in the accident and died while undergoing treatment at the Armed Police Force Hospital in Satungal.
The injured motorcycle driver is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital. The police have said that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
