KATHMANDU, May 10: Nepal secured a 9-wicket victory over Bahrain in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier. In the rain-shortened 5-over match, Nepali batters chased down the 42-run target in just 4.2 overs, losing only one wicket.
Kabita Kunwar scored 18 runs, and Samjhana Khadka contributed 13. Bahrain's Deepika Rasangika made 34 runs. Rain forced the cancellation of Nepal's first match against Hong Kong. Nepal will play against Hong Kong on Tuesday.
