KATHMANDU, March 31: The entire Muslim community across the country is celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr today, marked by special prayers (Namaz) and blessings from elders. In Kathmandu, Muslims have gathered at Pancha Kashmiri Takiya Masjid, commonly known as Kashmiri Masjid.

Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, a time of feasting, gift-giving, and wearing new clothes.

On this day, Muslim devotees gather early in the morning, either at mosques or outdoor locations, for the Eid prayer. Afterwards, they break their fast with a feast of delicious treats. Families and friends come together to celebrate the conclusion of the month-long fast, exchanging Eid Mubarak greetings and gifts.
