KATHMANDU, May 5: The arrival of spring has brought a transformation to Kathmandu, with a striking purple hue now blanketing the city. Once plagued by pollution, the valley's air has cleared thanks to recent rainfall.
As the Nepali month of Baisakh begins, the city is now adorned with blooming jacaranda flowers along the roadsides, captivating locals and visitors alike. The vibrant flowers, along with the refreshing, pollution-free air, have made the city a picturesque haven this spring.
