KATHMANDU, April 19: Nepal will take on Afghanistan today in the ICC U-19 World Cup Asia Qualifier.
The match kicks off at 9 AM at the lower ground of the Mulpani Cricket Complex. After winning three matches in a row, Nepal will step onto the field aiming for a fourth straight victory.
Nepal defeated the UAE by 5 runs under the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method in their opening match. They followed it up with an 8-wicket win over Oman in the second game.
On Wednesday, Nepal crushed Hong Kong by 9 wickets in their third match to set up today's showdown with Afghanistan.
With three consecutive wins, Nepal leads the points table with 6 points. Today's match marks their final outing in the group stage.
