JANAKPURDHAM, May 24: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak said he will address the allegations against him related to the visit visa issue within two to four days. He made this statement during a discussion with party cadres at the Nepali Congress party office in Dhanusha district on Saturday.
When a cadre asked if someone had set a trap for him, Minister Lekhak replied, "People have been writing about me on social media regarding the visit visa issue for several days. I stayed silent for two or three days while I investigated where, how, and why this is happening. I have already gathered significant information on the matter. After I return to Kathmandu today, my ministry will issue a statement, and I will speak on the issue within two to four days. Then, friends across the country will clearly understand. That's why I am not speaking much about it now."
He reassured party members that they have no reason to worry about the situation.
He added, "Throughout my political career, I have never done anything to disappoint or discourage the party's supporters. The day I commit any wrongdoing, I will withdraw from politics. I will properly address all the issues raised against me and clearly explain my side."
