KATHMANDU, May 21: The hearing on the habeas corpus petition of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane will not take place today.
The hearing on Lamichhane’s petition had begun on Tuesday by a joint bench of Justices Nahakul Subedi and Bal Krishna Dhakal. However, since the hearing could not be concluded that day, the case was deferred for Wednesday.
The hearing could not take place on Wednesday as Judge Subedi was placed on the constitutional bench and the bench of Judges Dhakal and Subedi could not be convened.
