KATHMANDU, May 2: The government is preparing to launch Bidushi Yogmaya Ayurveda University.
President Ramchandra Paudel shared this information while presenting the policy and program for the fiscal year 2025/26 to both houses of the federal parliament on Friday.
The policy and program states that the government will prioritize the production and promotion of essential and basic medicines. It will also draft an integrated law related to medicines and health materials. To strengthen Ayurveda services and promote alternative medical practices, the government will establish Bidushi Yogmaya Ayurveda University as an institution for Ayurvedic studies.
