KATHMANDU, May 6: The price of gold has seen a significant surge in the domestic market on Tuesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of gold rose by Rs 5,300 per tola today, reaching Rs 189,900 per tola. It was traded at Rs 184,600 per tola on Monday.
The price of silver has also increased. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,965 per tola today, up from Rs 1,910 previously.
