Earthquake death toll reaches 7,912

KATHMANDU, May 9: The death toll in the April 25 earthquake and aftershocks has reached 7,912 as of Saturday morning.

Likewise, the number of injured is 16,037, according to the data provided by Nepal Police.


According to police, 1,713 have been killed in capital, 53 in Eastern Region, 5,728 in Central Region, 416 in Western Region and two in Midwestern Region.

Likewise, 9,022 in capital have sustained injuries, 327 in Eastern Region, 5,473 in Central Region, 1,046 in Western Region and 22 in Midwestern Region.
