KATHMANDU, July 13: Dissatisfied leaders of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have approached the Election Commission following recent internal decisions made by party chair Rajendra Lingden.

On July 9, Lingden removed Nawaraj Subedi from the position of Central Disciplinary Committee Chair and Sagun Sundar Lawati from the role of party spokesperson. Vice-chair Roshan Karki was appointed as the new disciplinary head.

A meeting held Saturday at General Secretary Dhawal Shumsher Rana’s residence concluded that a delegation would visit the commission to raise concerns about party procedures and statutes.

Accordingly, leaders including Subedi, Shumsher, Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani, and Lawati appeared at the Election Commission today.
