KATHMANDU, July 19: The Board of Directors of the Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) Limited has picked Dev Kumar Dhakal as its chair. Dhakal assumed the office after the RBB Board meeting unanimously nominated him as the chair on Friday.
He has possessed 30 years plus experience at Nepal Rastra Bank, the central bank, in different capacities and responsibilities. Dhakal, who worked as director at the central bank lately, knows the financial system, banking administration and regulatory system.
Established in 2022 BS, the RBB has been providing services to around 4.7 million service seekers through its 309 branches in 77 districts.
