DAILEKH, July 25: A vehicle en route to Jumla from Surkhet met with an accident near Tallodungeshwar in Dullu Municipality-1 of Dailekh.
According to DSP Ganesh Baral, chief of Dailekh District Police Office, 12 of the 19 passengers on board were injured, with five sustaining serious injuries. The seriously injured passengers have been referred to Surkhet for further treatment.
Locals said the vehicle with the registration number Karnali Province (02-001 Ja 0046) skidded backward and fell approximately 15 meters into a stream while attempting to pick up passengers on an uphill section of the road.
